Review: Inbox Dollars

Overall: Thumbs Up

Well folks, I’m nearly going cross-eyed from staring at the computer screen so long, but I guess that comes with the territory. Anyhow, here’s the skinny on InboxDollars. It’s a “Paid To Read” (PTR) site that also includes “Get Paid To” (GPT) offers, Surveys, and games. The site is easy to navigate and easy on the eyes.

PTR e-mails from InboxDollars are among the easiest to read and confirm of all the PTR sites I’ve seen, and they pay pretty well by comparison - 9 emails over a two day period earned me a cool $0.35. You don’t have to look at the e-mail for a long period of time either, which is a plus.

When it comes to GPT offers they have a nice selection and payout seems comparable to other sites. The GPT offers are sorted well and they have a category for 100% free offers displayed prominently so it’s easy to find.

InboxDollars has an interesting approach to surveys - every one completed pays $0.5. Of course, just like everywhere else you may start a survey and find out you don’t meet the criteria and get the consolation of an entry in the sweepstakes.

Playing games for cash looked too good to be true, although for a moment I saw my wife making us millions! The catch is that for every $1.00 you spend playing games InboxDollars gives you a nickel. I’m somewhat old school when it comes to playing games online, I just think they should be free. But, maybe this is a bargain for someone else. For me, I’ll be skipping this section.

InboxDollars pays for referrals - you get $5 when someone you referred reaches and requests a payout.

The minimum amount for payout is $30, which doesn’t seem like an impossible number to reach. They only pay by check, no paypal or any such modern method. Payments are Net 30 - so if you cash out in January your check will be mailed the 1st of March.

Overall, this one gets a thumbs up. Remember: GPT, PTR, and such are not going to make you rich or even be a full-time gig but, combined with other income streams, they do add up.

P.S. - Not sure how long this will last, but currently InboxDollars gives you a $5.00 bonus just for signing up.
